Welcome to the home page for the Maricopa Community Colleges Faculty Association (MCCFA).   As the cost of attending traditional, four-year colleges and universities continues to rise, more and more students are discovering the advantages of attending community college. On the campuses of the MCCFA, they find there are numerous selling points to a community college education. In addition to significantly lower tuitions, they find favorable teacher-student ratios and a diverse student population, composed of young people alongside retirees and other adults returning to the classroom.

With that increasing enrollment comes increasing pressure to make sure Maricopa Community Colleges’ faculty keep abreast of current trends in education, constantly renewing their commitment to their students and the educational process.

There are more than 1,300 full-time faculty members at the ten colleges which make up the Maricopa Community Colleges District, and over eighty-percent of them are dues-paying members of the Faculty Association. We are here to represent them, to make sure their voices are heard not only in the classroom and the colleges, but in the state legislature and beyond.

The Maricopa Community Colleges Faculty Association gives its members the tools they need to succeed, in and out of the classroom.
